My name is Tere and I am a birth & postpartum Doula working in the beautiful Hawkes Bay of New Zealand.
I believe that every new family deserves to be loved and supported while they transition into parenthood. The proverb "It takes a village to raise a child" is still relevant today.
The reality of that now is, that many of us don't have our 'people' to help us navigate this new chapter and this can result in us feeling inadequate as parents. It is my role as a Doula to bring practical and emotional support back to those families whose village is not there to guide and love them through that transformational time.
